ANSUL® Foam Systems Design and Specification
ANSUL® Foam Systems Design and Specification School
This three-day program will include all areas of the design, equipment selection, foam agent application, and installation of fixed foam systems for a variety of hazards in accordance with the appropriate NFPA standards. Special emphasis will be directed to the identification and specification of component parts for each of the different types of fixed foam systems. This program is recommended for anyone involved in the specification, design, installation, or commissioning of foam systems.

ANSUL® Foam Systems Service and Maintenance School
This program provides an overview of the basic types of fixed foam systems but will focus on the correct service and maintenance procedures for the various systems. Students will have an opportunity for actual hands-on experience on foam testing procedures, bladder tank filling and more.

Certification Training for Foam Systems
This course covers the agent, components and auxiliary periperals for typical applications of a Foam system. Also covered are conducting a hazard analysis, design and installation, and codes and standards. Inspection, service, maintenance, and recharge of the the system are detailed.

Foam & Foam Hardware Certification Training (English & German)
This course covers the agent, foam chemistry, foam testing standard, foam components and proportioning, transition into Non-fluorinated foam systems and auxiliary peripherals for typical applications of a Foam system. This course mentioning foam system design according to NFPA11 and EN13565-2 standard.
High Expansion and Low Expansion foam system design for the protection of Warehouse, Storage tanks and Bunds are covered.
Highlights
- Attendees will become familiar with how firefighting foam works and where it can be used, as well as with system components required for a working foam system, and with design calculations based on foam standard.

Introduction to Foam and Foam Hardware
This e-learning module is the perfect start for you to become familiar with the world of fire fighting foams and the associated hardware components. The module starts with history of foams, the various types of foams available, and the use of foams in different applications.
The module discusses the hardware components necessary to proportion foam concentrates into water to create a solution and the application devices to apply the foam towards a risk.
During the program you will have the opportunity to answer questions to check your learning progress before taking the final exam.
