Quell™ Methodology Training
During this two-day training program, attendees will develop an understanding of the Quell™ development process and design requirements as well as an understanding of all components required to implement a Quell™ design. The agenda will include modules that consist of the history and substantiation of current NFPA 13 requirements, the Performance Based Design and Alternative Methods & Materials process. Other modules that will ensure successful implementation and installation of the Quell ™ design and design method will be covered.
- Self paced pre-training assessment to become familiar with the development and intricacies of the Quell™ Methodology
- Hands on training with a fully functional Quell™ riser
- Self paced, guided exercises to learn and become familiar with Fluid Delivery Time Software utilized in Quell™ design
Summarize the history and substantiation of current NFPA 13 requirements in regards to Quell™ Methodology and design
- Discuss the Quell™ development process and design requirements
Identify all components required to implement a Quell™ design
Explain the Performance Based Design and Alternative Methods & Materials Process
Analyze the lessons learned during the more than 130 Quell™ installations that have been completed in the U.S.
Determine the process for resolving any issues that are encountered during the design or installation of a Quell™ system
