Quellâ„¢ Methodology Training

During this two-day training program, attendees will develop an understanding of theQuell Methodology Quell™ development process and design requirements as well as an understanding of all components required to implement a Quell™ design. The agenda will include modules that consist of the history and substantiation of current NFPA 13 requirements, the Performance Based Design and Alternative Methods & Materials process.  Other modules that will ensure successful implementation and installation of the Quell ™ design and design method will be covered.

  • Discuss the Quell™ development process and design requirements
  • Identify all components required to implement a Quell™ design
  • Explain the Performance Based Design and Alternative Methods & Materials Process
  • Analyze the lessons learned during the more than 130 Quell™ installations that have been completed in the U.S.
  • Determine the process for resolving any issues that are encountered during the design or installation of a Quell™ system
